Ok.. opinions please..

as some of you know.. my mk2 has a different colour boot to the rest of the car, due to it being in a rear end smash, the boot was pretty badly 'beat up' as were the rear panels either side of the boot, any hoo .. theres no way in hell Im gonna be able to get this proffesionally done before Inters, SO..... do I

A,
leave it silver (bootlid) and just paint the rear panels in a 'near match ' (cant find Sanabria green in a can ANYWHERE..)
B,
leave it as it is? i e silver boot, and just grey primer on the panels
C,
spray the whole end in 'near match' green for now untill I can get this bloody thing into the body/spray shop?

The green I CAN find is a VW metallic one. Have tried a bit , its noticable , but obviously not as noticable as the silver..and at least my car will be green , rather than green and silver

or, as an idea, I believe that Hellfrauds can mix paint in a can *at very extortionate prices*
do I splash out 20 or 30 quid to try to get a few cans of paint mixed ?

OR: wat body shop were u thinkin of? as if it is a big name then yes, all they care about is money. near me (Fair enough i stay hundreds of miles away) there is a local boy who does for nearly half the price of an established body shop, and the quality is just as good, have a look around locally and you might find one, if not, i say option C,

hmm, i'd just leave it, if you paint the boot then people will think ur a amatuer, if you leave it silver then people will know you've had an accident!!

hhmm just made a call. found somewhere that may be cheaper than Hellfrauds , AND can put it in a rattle -can for me.. might just give it a quick blow over before Inters.....

Halfords is only a tenner a spray can if they mix it up especially for you, they'll have the colour on the computer I would imagine.

yeh my mate works in halfords, and they have every paint code pissible in their system, they can mix it up for you mate £10 a can
