Right, it hasnt even been a week and im there lol already ordered by new bulbs and im sure you will all have some ideas, so go nuts. Very tight budget and nothing thats gonna hurt my MPG's too much but im sure you will appriciate the challenge! Bonus points if you can find something that IMPROVES my MPGs and doesnt hurt my performance

Remap Should improve MPG and performance And make sure it's well serviced - oil, filters etc.

Performance Torque aren't that expensive in the grand scheme of things, and plenty of good reviews for their maps on TDi's with people getting 70-80mpg and a nice hefty dose of torque

Only issue is distance, but in a TDi then should get good mpg there and better back

Thanks will take a look am being poked towards a super chip but seems too good to be true, 30 BHP, better fuel consumption and doesnt need oil all the time? suspicious

I'd be very suspicious of that - I'm partial to Performance Torque because I love the map I've got from them, but there are other maps available - personally I'd rather stick to a tuner/mapper that uses the forums and knows these cars - Revo, P-Torque, Custom Code - all got their own sections on the forum, all do a lot of R&D and testing and plenty of good reviews from lots of people here
