Oil temp gauge

Morning gents before you start yes i searched but to no success i have just taken delivery of my autometer boost and oil temp gauges but although they seam easy to fit and i know where the sender goes did any of you have a problem with the oil sender as on my gauge its a bullet shaped sender with a blue 1/2" npt fitting is this ok or do i need another fitting.

Fitting in the engine is M10 I believe, so you'd need an M10 adapter. You must mean 1/8npt as most sensors are 1/8npt?

Its a ultralite gauge and it says 1/2" npt fitting it looks pretty big for the size of hole for where its suppose to go mate
