Oil temp gauge

hi people, need some advise,....
just got my oil temp gauge but unsure where the best place is to fit the sender, has anyone fitted one and how do i go about it?

also does any one no where i can get an s3 strut brace from?

cant help with oil temp gauge
but s3 brace and can from audi, if you search the part number has been mentionned on here before, its about £50 once you've bought nuts, bolts and washers too

Oil Sender - If it's the same as the LC, there should be a blanking bolt on the top side of the Oil Filter assembly.
Just un-screw that, and then screw the sender in it's place.

S3 Strut - The part number is in Pab's guide on the main site, and your Seat dealer will be able to get them, just under £20 if memory serves me correctly.

Senders can be a bit tricky, don't overtighten it (possible to snap it) but do it tight enough and with some ptfe to seal properly. Check it's not leaking and maybe again every once in a while just to be sure.

Strut brace is £58 inc. vat from an Audi dealer, picked mine up last week.

oil temp , i would say get a oil plug and drill it so the sender fits it right , so if u ever decide to take it out you can chuck your old oil plug back in , was gonna do this to my s3 but never got round to it , you will have to change the oil as soon as you take the oil plug out
