Hi all.

Looking for some help/pointers as to what could be causing this. It only happens after driving the car hard, parking it for a few hours (car is driven normally for a couple of miles before switching off) When i restart the car a few hours later you can smell oil fumes coming through the heater vents, its only noticeable for a couple of minutes then disappears.

Ive looked around the engine bay and i cant see any oil leaks, spills etc. Ive also checked that all the breather pipes are attached and intact..........cant really see anything out of the ordinary. The car has also used nearly a litre of oil since it was last serviced 4k ago. I'm taking the car into Votex tomorrow I'm just after an idea of what they or I could look for.

Thanks, Matt

is that more likely to be somewhere in particular or just anywhere in the system?

Hose that comes from the turbo to the charge pipe can split and causes a nice oil smell! Hmmmmmmm don't you love that smell......... ;) !
