oil sludge

Got my self a tfsi and every year when cold i seem to have thick sludge stuck to my oil cap, that cant be good, i know i should go on a long run to clear it, what do you think

condensation form what i understand as the air is a lot colder and more damp

what sort of journeys do you no? short and quick?

how often do you change the oil?

i guess short journeys, 8miles each way for work, is this a bad thing for my car, ive had car for 3 years and it always happends, i know if i go on a long spin it will go, but i dont do this often, is this bad for car, got neuspeed cold air filter would this cause it, does this happen to others
