Oil pressure problem

Tried starting my 2003 1.9tdi and it would fire up then cut out?
A warning of oil pressure stop engine came up.

Oil pump or sensor? any one else had this?

99,800 miles. I had the sensor changed as the pump was spurting oil about on removal of the dipstick/cap.

Touch wood it hasnt happened sinse! The mpg is poo now thought! from 47-36???
