hi i am new to all this and have just regerstered,
iv spent a load of money on my LCR and the other day the red oil light started flashing
first at 4,000 rpm then 10 mins later at 3,000rpm then another 10 mins 2,000rpm, then it just stays flashing even on tic-over
then about 100 miles later (trying to get it home by driving like a granny) it started tapping quite loudly (sounded like an old ford fiesta) so i stoped it as soon as i hurd it nd towed it to the garage,
they have told me that the oil pressure is 30psi all the way through the rev range and it is more than enugh and is just just a faulty sensor, im not convinced that is enough as i have read that people have had lke 75psi.
could some one tell me what could b the problem and how easy it is to fix
i have just baught a new head as the old one was cracked and dont really want to do any damage to it iv had it 3 months nd have so far spent £4500 on it, £3500 is trying 2 fix it im fed up with it.
if any one could shed some light i would b very greatfull
thanks, chris
