Oil Pressure gauge???

done a load of searches before everyone jumps on it!!!!!!!!

Seen craigs fitting guide!!!!!!!!!


But still not sure as to whether i need another part or not, i have the adaptor to fit the sender but will i lose my oil light off the dash and if so do i need to buy a t piece???????????

If i do where can i get one from????

Any help much appreciated!!!!

Had enough of my gauge running at 7bar and never moving!!!!!!!

Boost gauge was so easy compared to this, wish i had a single pillar pod now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fitted and oil temp gauge into my car and I still have the oil light on my dash. I used these threads to help me:

Losing the oil light off your dash? lmao. Thats because you got low oil pressure. Check for leaks.

the sender you got with yor guage should have 2 connections comin off it. 1 of these is for connecting to your oil pressure light circuit and the other is for the signal wire for your guage.

the reason your reading a permanent 7 bar (i prosume thats as high as it goes) is because the guage isn't gettin the signal from the sender, so you're just running a permanent 12v right through the guage and not putting any resistance into ie the sender.

my only problem was that the sender was too wide to fit into the space provided so i had to get a 2" extension piece to bring it out from the engine a bit!

have you got any pics of your sender as mine only seems to have one connection off it for the wire from the gauge and not one for the old connector
