Oil filter

Picked up the part from GSF and it doesn't look at all like the oil filters on the other cars I have/had. How does one replace the thing?

Unscrew cap (was VERY tight the first time I removed mine, it is normally threaded) and remove, slide filter off cap mounted shaft, use oil sucky sucky thing to get oil out of base of housing, change seals on cap/shaft, put new filter on shaft (made sure its the right way up), refit cap.

Be careful taking the cap off - use of a cup wrench, a socket that will fit over the cap and engage all the flats, is recommended.

The Halfords version requires a 3/8 square drive so an adapter will be needed if all you have are ¼" and ½" drive sets, like me.
