Oil capacity and info......

Use something like Castrol 5W40 TD, oil capacity I cant comment on, will probably something a little bit different than petrol engine.
Like all the 1.9 TDI's it need 4.3 litres from empty.
The Leon Lubricants thread in the FAQ tells all about oil types: You need oil suitable for a PD engine, so it must conform to 505.01 as a minimum (NOT 505.00), or, better, 507.00 Most of these are 5w40, but it isn't the viscosity that matters so much as the VW spec, which is often hidden in the small print on the side of the container. Oil spec is important on PD engines, so make sure to get the right one.
