I was about to pull of my drive yesterday on my way to work, committed to pulling out (drive is just off a nasty blind bend) and the warning beep as if still had the hand brake on sounded i looked at the dash and the oil light was flashing as well as a red and orange/yellow light then the engine died leaving me stranded in the middle of a blind bend. I started it up again to get out of the middle of the road which the car struggled to do coughing and spluttering. I checked the oil and the level which was fine so i called the AA out during my lunch break. Mr AA arrived and the car was fine with no lights or beeping he phoned Seat Colchester who recommended it was towed in to them. It was plugged in to there diagnostics system which wound NO faults on the whole of the management system and was told that if the computer says there is no problem then there is no problem!
It seams OK now but i am slightly concerned that it may happen again, is there anything that could possibly cause this?
