I know there have been a few members on here with mixed views on the RSD / Oettinger 210 conversion for the Ibiza, which is what i have on my car at present, but have been looking to improve the performance, from the "210" to a higher figure.
Now shortly the car will have full Milltek exhaust, Forge Turbo Intake, FMIC, and everything i can think that would be needed for stage 2.

Thinking about future mods, and getting the K03s.

But does anyone know if there is a Stage 2 for the Oettinger upgrade? And if there is, anywhere that its available from?

I know there are other options, ie Custom Code, Revo, Jabbasport etc.....

And when it comes to it, i will look into these also, but was wondering if there was a Stage 2 Oettinger upgrade.

Now thinking about it it would probably be best to get the K03s and then getting it remapped to make the most of this. But i know most of the remaps available are Generic serial remaps.

Any opinions, or comments are welcome,

Cheers Tom

LOL cheers Jason, yeah Cat and DP is on order, im gonna drop Dany an email on monday regarding it, but just it odd that it doesnt seem to get much press, infact i can find bugger all about oettinger stage 2, and their website doesnt include the mk3 ibiza cupra.

I know RSD had a 240 conversion aswell as the 210 conversion, but im not sure if this is only a bigger turbo on the same remap.

Factor in a potential new ECU if your old one can't be 'un-oettingered' but the 240 kit was a k04 type turbo (probably just a k03s with optimistic power output)

Thats a thing i've noticed, that the upgrade seems to mention a ko4, which from what i've read isnt a straight forward swap, so i'm thinking maybe your right about the turbo mork, as the 210 also seems to be optimistic, when others have posted about it in the past!

Good point, didn't think about un-oettingering the current ecu if i need to use a different remap. Maybe i'll keep my peepers open for a Revo'd one, or jabba one that come up for sale now and again, as i assume a new ecu from seat will be buggary expensive!

Can you re-remap an already flash mapped ecu? I.e. if i was to get an already revo'd ecu, but didnt want revo, could i get it (for example) custom coded?

yes - any respectable tuner should be able to reflash to stock, and then put their own code on it.

however... some older jabba ecu's will have dimsport chips on with encryption, so they would have to be removed.

normally 2nd hand ecu's are £300 ish, less in part ex

The oettinger/RSD install of their encrypted, no more nails glued install may prohibit successful revertion to stock for a Reflash of someone elses code.

May be best to sell it on as is, get a std one and start over... save messing about.

I sold my old ecu as was, when I moved on.

Cheers guys, i've read about the problems you had previously with RSD / Oettinger, and from the (very little) information i can find about the 240 conversion, it seems that the mods required were a larger, possibly Ko4 turbo.
