im looking for a near to oem looking Double din sat nav with all the goodies,
guessing kenwood as there seat approved?

also i know i can buy an adapter for steering controls to work but what about my bluetooth, aux and usb from my normal stereo? can i transfer the connections so i dont loose any features?

seen a few pics of owners with double dins installed, anyone recently stuck one in there cupra/boca?

You can get the VW units in with some difficulty if its the RNS 510 you desire.

The unit from the Golf etc requires modification of the dash:

The Touareg unit fits better without modification to the dash:

Bit of discussion here http://www.seatforum.de/forum/showthread.php?t=230405

I'm also pondering whether the Audi units might work. The A1 MMI would require extensive modification but is a really cool system, got my eye on this at the moment - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180865243370

As a final suggestion the RNS-E unit from the Exeo/ A4 may be worth further investigation http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261010326729

want it to sit flush and not protrude ect

Fair enough, but as seen in the 2nd picture the Touareg RNS510 fits without "cutting up my dash and fill sides with foam", and it is likely the RNS-E unit from the Exeo would also fit although some investigation may be needed as to whether the electrics would be fully compatible. I'd say both those options are preferable to an after-market system. Up to you anyway.

?

Where can I get the facia adapter to go with the Exeo or Toureg head unit???

I take it I will need a facia adapter??

?

I have researched these units and a lot of people are saying they are unreliable.

They are a Chinese import, I'm put off getting one and I think I'll stick to a more well known brand.

Can the kenwood from seat fit? I was told the 510 is the same size as the kenwood and it would fit with no modification?
If not then the 315 should fit that's a nav and Dab unit same size as the 310

This one?

"Suitable for: Leon, Altea and Alhambra"

I imagine it doesn't fit, I'm sure they would love to charge Ibiza owners £1k+ if they could.

EDIT: Just saw the post above and gave a quick Google. They have a cheap look, but in doing so look VERY OEM. Hmmm

That's the kenwood, I wouldn't buy it because it's rubbish but I would have thought it would fit, I might get a 310 at work next week and see if it fits

I'm looking at this unit... Pioneer AVIC-F950DAB.

Can anyone tell me if it will fit in my Ibiza Cupra with a facia adapter?

Ive got the kenwood DNX4230DAB in mine and that fits fine but i would advise against getting a kenwood headunit, its the second one ive had due to the first one failing and have to have a new one reissued. This one works fine when it wants to i've had to restart it numerous times due to it freezing and when starting up the bluetooth will not always load. When it does work the bluetooth and Sat nav can take a minute or so to load up aswell. Im going to get rid of it in the next month or so as i switch cars. I spoke to an audio specialist and he said to get pioneer over kenwood and he has got both makes fitted in two of his vans.

EDIT: I initially got the one for Leon, Alhambra and Exeo which is show above but sold it on because it didn't fit. Luckily i got more than my money back.
