odd jobs before selling...

ok im selling my cupra next month and need some odd jobs done to get it to 100% match fit..

1. my indicator flashes rapid when turning left, ive done a search and apparently changing the stalk should do the trick, can anyone confirm this please? when you hold the stalk down with a bit of pressure it works fine..

2. my airbag warning light is always on, so i have downloaded vag-com shareware 311 i think it is, and i have a cable from ebay, do i need anything else like a driver for the cable because id doesnt seem to work??

3. my battery was disconnected for a couple hours yesterday, and now my heaters say L1 L2 L3... H1 H2 H3 etc for the heat instead of Lo 19, 20 ,21.. 27 Hi, does anyone know how to fix this?

any advice is much appreciated

1. i'd check that there isn't a bulb out as i think this would make the indicator rapid. check front, back and side repeater bulbs are working.

2. do you mean the "airbag off" (passenger airbag) light? if so check in the glove box to see if it has been turned off. you use the key to turn it on/off

3. Push and hold the auto button ,that should sort your heating issue.

nealo , i checked the bulbs they all seem to work, i used the key fob not the indicator to check tho.. the airbag light is the aribag warning light on the dash next to the speedo etc..

also does anyone know how to get the steering wheel off so i can remove the indicator stalk to check, it makes a clickey noise like something is stuck / broke when you flick it on or off.
