We always aim to streamline and improve functionality for our client base. Thus, we’re beginning a gradual migration of Volkswagen Group diagnostics and One-Click Apps from the OBDeleven VAG app to our main OBDeleven app.

This shift is aimed at providing a unified, high-performance platform with enhanced security for users across all car brands.

1. Why are you moving some features from the OBDeleven VAG app to the OBDeleven app? ​

We’re consolidating diagnostics and One-Click Apps into the OBDeleven app to simplify the user experience, improve performance, and provide enhanced security. This will allow you to access features across all supported car brands in one place.

2. Will the OBDeleven VAG app still be available?​

Yes, the OBDeleven VAG app will remain functional for now. You’ll still be able to access diagnostics, One-Click Apps, and PRO features like coding, adaptations, and basic settings there. However, diagnostics and One-Click Apps are now also available in the OBDeleven app.

3. Will my subscription, Credits, and data transfer to the new OBDeleven app?​

Yes, all your digital items (like Credits and subscription plans) are linked to your OBDeleven account, not a specific app. Simply log in to the OBDeleven app with your credentials, and you’ll have access to your data.

4. Do I need to pay extra for my existing subscription in the new app?​

No, your existing PRO VAG or ULTIMATE VAG subscription remains valid with no extra charges. You can use the OBDeleven app for diagnostics and One-Click Apps while still using the VAG app for PRO features like coding.

5. Will coding and adaptations move to the OBDeleven app as well?​

For now, coding and adaptations will remain in the OBDeleven VAG app. Our goal is to eventually consolidate all features into one app, and we’ll notify users when that happens.

6. What if I use the FirstGen device?​

FirstGen devices are only compatible with the OBDeleven VAG app. To use the main OBDeleven app, you’ll need a NextGen device.

7. Will the One-Click Apps and diagnostics work the same way in the OBDeleven app? ​

Yes, the functionality of One-Click Apps and diagnostics for Volkswagen Group vehicles will remain the same in the main OBDeleven app.

8. What will happen with my Credits and data?​

All your Credits, data, and history are attached to your OBDeleven account and will be available in the OBDeleven app when you log in.

9. What vehicles will work with the OBDeleven app? ​

The OBDeleven app is compatible with vehicles that use CAN-bus or KWP2000 protocols, which includes most modern cars. However, vehicles that use the older K-line protocol, such as the Volkswagen Golf 4, Volkswagen Passat B5, Audi B6, and other models of similar years, are not supported.

If you attempt to connect a K-line vehicle, you’ll receive an error message, as these models are not compatible with the OBDeleven app.
