Are there any decent cheap obd readers that tell you more than just the code ?
I have a problem with my Mrs seat ibiza FR
I have the code i know its possibly the actuator problem and I'm going to try a fix I've read on here .
But when I took my work van into Halfords to see why the engine management light is on I noticed there device gives the code and more of a description of what's causing the problem
Or is it they just give code and the description of what the code means ?

If you have the code just Google it or check the code number against the Ross Tech site for a description.

If your just wanting something cheap and cheerful then if suggest the carista obd plug, it covers alot of car manufacturers in case you change your car.
There are Launch obd readers as well but more expensive than carista.

Most code readers just give the code a brief description, at a branch you would go further in to the manual and get the diagnostic guide of that fault.
