Not starting straight away when engine warm

My 99 Toledo seems to have a problem wioth starting wqhen the engine is warm.

It starts up straight away when I try it when engine cold/not used for couple of hours, but if I turn off engine then turn on again, it turns and turns and turns and have to pump the gas for it to start.

Again, if anyone has any advice on how to resolve this it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Mate
Try the coolant temp sensor
This is due to the sensor reading incorrectly , so can over or under fuel
Easy fix and quite cheap too
This has been covered quite a bit
The petrol and diesels have them
They go down for fun them sensors

Where abouts is the sensor located? And if faulty where can I buy one from?

Not sure how these things work, but if I want to put the heaters on surely I should be able to without the sensor deciding whether it should be on or not. Having trouble with water in the car so the windows mists up a lot when it is cold so need the demister on a lot.

Did assume that it was a connection somewhere rather than a sensor.

If you can can you post a link to previous threads as searched the site an dcan't find any.

Thanks

do a search on coolant temp sensor, all will be revealed, as for where it is it's on the righthand side just above the gearbox, I bought mine from German and swedish cost about £21 IIRC.
