I fitted my cupra air intake to my mk4 ibiza 130 and it DOES make a difference. More then I anticipated actually, there is far more whistle and I deff notice a difference turbo seams to have more pull and is more responsive. It was tricky to put in, I had to put the hose in first, then push the other end bellow the whole at the front of the car, then push the adapter in and clip i int, then bend the hose over the adapter which did hurt my fingers a bit, but job done. Would been easier to remove the battery but I am lazy lol.

Green pannel filter is orderd and will fit that once it's arrived and the strut brace will go on when it has arrived. This brings me forward to 3 questions dun dun durrrr lol

First off, the cupra hose or adapter didn't have any of those flip and restrictive plastic bits on it that would need cutting out, does anyone know if Seat has changed things with this adapter as if I made the adapter any bigger there would be a hole in the side?

Second, I am ordering a milltek exhaust, £400 odd and a new bumper with hole cut out from seat was £20 (part number in the part number sticky) which is ok to pay for me, but not liking the £98 fitting fee for the bumper, and not sure how much else to fit the exhaust. How difficult is it to fit both of these things. I have no experience with this, but I can;t help but think "modding is a car is also about teaching your self about cars" but I don't want to end up no exhaust, no bumper and having to pay more to fix the damaged I have caused lol

Third, I don't actually own a spanner set or any tools really (yes yes I also am questioning if I am actually a man) so just wondering if there are any good sets to get. I don't mind paying a bit more for quality but just wondering if this makes any difference. My first thing to think is go B&Q and pick up some box for £X but thought I'd ask, no harm.

Once that's all done, its brakes and REMAP!! wooo lol

For the socket set and spanners i would visit your local motor factors as mine stocks some quite good quality tools at reasonable prices, halfords stuff seems ok but they are usually overpriced !

You can see here where I have (crudely) cut away the flappy bit from the take. It did seem to make a small difference.

When it comes to tools, you get what you pay for. I brought a £24.99 socket set from Argos but the ratchet on it isn't too good.
