noisey front wheel?

ive got squealing type noise coming from the front of my car, it happens most of the time, its loudest at about 40mph, doesnt do it when i turn left and when i brake. ive done a couple of searches but not really knowing what to search for.
Any ideas??

there no wobble when driving it though, no o.ther noises either. also jacked it up and theres no play in the wheels

Doesnt need any play in the wheel to mean its not gone mate cos it all depends how far its gone. Either way its either going to be something rubbing against your wheel or the wheel bearing. They aint expensive to replace anyway only about £15 + fitting
