Noise, engine sounds like a v-twin motorbike

I've searched a lot of threads, but cant find anything simmilar. This happens mostly under load, like when i'm driving up a hill. In every gear between 2000-3000 rpm. It has been getting worse lately, thats why i'm beginning to think that theres something wrong. It was like this when i bought the car, but I thought it was because of the LCR's excaust system beeing louder. I should tell you that I have a noisy gearbox (input shaft most likely). Does anyone have any suggestions whats causing this?

Had cambelt, waterpump etc. done yesterday, and this has cured it.
