I bought a vehicle on Saturday 10th August, Toledo 2016 1.2 TSI 110 bhp, at the moment of sale I have reported to the salesman a noise at low RPM, and he reassured me that the car was fine and inspected.
I did try the car on the past days but the noise persist, it's similar to a vibration/rattling.
The noise is present in 1st and 2nd gear while in low rpm range (800-2000) and it seems coming from the right of the bonnet (UK driving side).
The noise disappears when I give more gas above 2000rpm and from 3rd gear on.
While on 3rd gear at 1500 RPM I can't hear anything.
The engine when the car is not moving sound normal, the clutch is smooth and doesn't slip.
I drove the car on motorway and didn't hear any particular noise from 3rd to 6th gear, the car ran smoothly.
What could be and what would you suggest to check?
I bought the car from a car dealership and with extended warranty, even tho the dealer confirmed no issue with the car I am not 100% sure, I don't want to find myself with a bigger issue ignored by the dealer just to sell a car.
