Installed a HID kit a couple of weeks ago and my NS bulb was intermittently on and off.

Tested the power feed directly from the original loom and it has no 12v feed also when I twisted and turned the connector, what sounded like a motor/relay started whirring!

Has anyone else come across this problem?

Checked the fuse mark? There are seperate fuses for left and right dipped and main.

Not yet, do you know what numbers they are?

I think it is pointing towards a bad connection, because I could hear a relay whirring when I twisted the connector.

Not off the top of my head. Will check my handbook if I go near my car later!
