I am probably very late to the party, and also a newbie here.
I have bought a 2009 Ibiza with an l aftermarket radio and the first thing I did was ordering an OEM one to replace it.
The stereo is very simple, no touch screen, the most primitive you can imagine, but it has an aux input, so I have also bought a Bluetooth adapter.
It is plugged between the original socket and the radio. Basically just power, ground, and 2 extra cables with the receiver to the aux input of the unit
The car originally does not have the aux or the USB inputs beside the shifter/cigarette lighter but as the radio does have the pins, I figured it will be working.
I do not have a prog button, only a media button but pressing that it says NO MEDIA ( if there is no Cd)
Is there any way to enable the aux in a programming menu?
I have read multiple times to take ot to the dealer and they will enable it in 10min but hoping to sort it myself.
The bluetooth is powered eceiver seems to work, I can connect to it.
Any help is appreciated.
