Hey got my MOT end of the mouth and my horn as decided to stop working

Checked the fuses all fine, tested the continuity of the buttons on the steering wheel fine again. Checked the voltage at the plug going into the horn, no voltage at all (when you push the buttons).... also put power from the battery to the horn and I jumped 10 foot.

Any ideas where the fault could be? Is the horn run off a relay?

Cheers, Dave

One test is to set your alarm off, if the horn is working when controled by something other than the button then you can be pretty sure its the button thats at fault rather than a fuse or wiring to the horn.

Great, there's me thinking it could be some simple to sort. The steering wheel easy to take off?

There's a relay in the fusebox for the horn too. Open the drivers door and hold the button down so the car thinks the door is shut, lock it to arm the alarm and then after about 20 seconds let go of the button. If the horn doesn't sound check the relay.
