No boost! No lights on dash

Trying to figure out what’s wrong with my car.
I have a 2009 Leon fr 170 tdi. It has stage one remap ram air induction kit and custom exhaust

I took it for a good run a few days, and on the way home I was in cruise control and felt a sudden lack in power..
When trying to down gear I realised I have no boost at all which made me think my turbo could have gone, but there’s no smoke or anything!

It’s now two days on and I still have no boost but the car runs and drives perfectly fine just has no power?

I’ve had it plugged in which has brought up code PO299. But this has several things it could be and I’m no good with cars but trying to get better !
Can anyone help please ?

Have you read it with VCDS or just a cheap code reader?

I’m leaning towards it being the actuator as I’ve seen a lot of similar posts with that being the solution .. are these hard to replace ?

You need VCDS to setup the actuator correctly.
