Anyone gased a 2.0 8v AGG engine? Any advice would be nice as im setting up a bottle and kit soon

depends what jets you use doesn't it

I'd be looking at a 35bhp shot to start. Then 50bhp after new internals

obviously but what i mean is will it blow the car to **** if the engine is completely standard, surely it would be an advantage to a modified engine over a standard

I'd hapily run a 35bhp shot on OE

with forged pistons & rods, ARP rod bolts, balanced crank, double valve springs and organic clutch i'd have a 75bhp shot with progressive controller

Nitrous is SAFE, as long as you increase the power of the jets sensibly, and use a progressive controller.

Mine is an 8v. You can run 75 jets with a controller on a fairly stock engine anything else you'll need to add forge pistons etc. Have you got your kit already?

It's a shame you didnt say a few weeks ago because i had some WoN bits and bobs around including a 5lb bottle that i sold. I got a Won wet kit with two 11lb bottles, bottle heater and gauge. At the moment i'm running between 75-100 shots (depends on the weather) but once i get my new controller i'll be able to run 150

I'll take some photos for you as soon as i can. Get some NGK iridium plugs to, they make a difference when using nitrous. Whos going to fit your kit?

I'll fit the kit myself. Think i'll start small then maybe go for larger jets after a few more engine goodies like better clutch and ARPs.

Whats your insurance like with gas? How do you find it on the road....some people say it runs out too fast?
