gone to fit the koni adjustables today, got both rear and one front on, then disaster, the adjustment nob snapped on the top....

options guys, new one shock, is it advisable to do both or one be fine... well pissed off now.

do koni do spare inserts etc? or is it a new shock only... grrrh help guys

If they are new a replacement is fine, if worn do an axle set.

spoke to koni, they say new shock, now im reluctant to pay for 2 as ive just shelled out a ton for them... will one be okay as they are£140 each or is the welding thing wort a go...... anyone familiar with welding on here??

the bit that sticks out of the top dave, just that bit snapped off

Can you not grind a slot in the bit underneith and adust it with a flat blade?

Rite ok.....can you get to the top to weld a little bar on it like a T bar type of thing?

That would work, you wouldn't be able to put that nipple back on tho IMO....there's not enough surface to weld and the weld would get in the way of adjusting it.
