Next mod - WMI, FMIC or bigger exhaust

Currently remapped PD130 with decat (standard pipe diameter), freeflowing backbox (standard diameter), egr delete and BMC CDA.

Not sure whether to go WMI, change to a FMIC, or get a full 2.5" exhaust system.

Full turbo back exhaust will give you the most gains with the added benefits of sound.

Dont bother with wmi, not at this stage, depends how much you want to spend. Fmic is the route you need to take. to get most gains you will need a remap.

Re the exsaust I would not bother 2.25 is fine with your turbo. you will not notice any gains you have already removed the particle filter.

If you can save the money, Fmic remap and hybrid turbo will transform your car.

Just rember your kill your clutch even with a FMIC and remap, so be prepared to have to pay for a new one.

You wont need one, But to get the most gains you will. Basicly you will notce an inprovement as its cooling the air which makes it more dense therefore more air into the inlet. But to take full advantage you need to increase boost and fueling. Therefore anouther remap.

Yeah, I know the benefits of a FMIC and also WMI.

WMI is the cheaper option for me. why is it not worth it at this stage?

I have WMI, fitted it myself, It needs a lot of setting up and trial and error log reading. Came after fitting turbo.

Why use WMI, filling it up every time, having to buy distilled water and methonal is not cheap. When you havent even got a FMIC.

I have noticed hardly any differnce with WMI, Im just experimenting with it. May be able to see a increase in power on a power run on a dyno, but actual driving not a great deal unless you crank it right up!

WMI Its most effective on the strip over short periods of time. For day to day driving get a fmic, It will save you money, air is free.

Well I know that a FMIC will improve performance, I was thinking WMI would too - I was hoping for some responses from people that have used it before or currently have it installed (like yourself).

As its a forum, I thought I ask the question!

Other option is bigger exhaust, but I think my money will be better spent elsewhere...
