Next car

Alright, just been looking into a new car maybe in the summer and I was thinking of a gti ed30, cupra, r32, or even st, can you get any if these with dsg? Heard good things about it and would like to give it a go. Also what is everyone else looking at getting next? Cheers

the ed30 is the only one on your list with DSG thats worth getting imo

Nope, silly isnt it. S3 DSG is a quick car, in a straightline and on the twisties.

ed30's have the same turbo and their tfsi and i also would have an ed30 out of your list .

ED30 is a realy nice car, and they drive so well, i have driven DSG and Manual versions as i worl for VW and the DSG is alot of fun and very responsive.

I'm guna go for one in the summer when I'm half way up through my finance I can give the car back to the finance company and the'l clear the balence Ive heard. Get a golf on finance then 07 reg dsg for 14k with around 30-40k on. Not bad I don't think. Quality interior too. Gunna be black this time if done red ha

i'd go for the cupra over the ED30, I just don't like the half leather. DSG is a love hate thing, i hated mine i'm not sure i would ever have it again.

yeh don't get me wrong cupras a lovely car but edition 30 is the bollox, looks cool well built good interior, rarer and a vw

hmm, ed30 isn't bad but don't think they are any better built than the leon, my mk5tdi had a few rattles, the ED30 is a limite model and you do pay a premium for it, i'm not sure i would pay £4000 for the kudos of a golf. A decent Cupra around 13/14k a decent ED30 around 17/18, DSG for an 08 just over 20k. For that i'd go straight to an S3

Think I agree there, ed30's are barely cheaper than s3's.
