Hi all. Ive just bought a Seat Leon FR 1.4 TSI Ecotech technology. I'm in the Oldham area and I'm pretty impressed so far.

So far everything is great. I'm impressed with the balance of response and economy. Much better than my A3 that I had before. Thanks for asking.
Great to hear! Happy to see things have moved on significantly since the days of my old MK4 Golf which also had a 1.4 petrol - my gosh that was horrifically under-powered!

Might be because it's the 150hp but the 2 cylinder mode makes a good difference to economy.

I'm getting around 35mpg but I'm very heavy footed at times. If I take it easy around town I can get around 39mpg. Not had it on a motorway yet but I guess it should be over 40mpg.

Unless of course it's the M60 which you'll undoubtedly have experience of being in Oldham!

Luckily I don't have to use the M60 very often. I might be going down the M6 at the weekend. I'll let you know how it gets on.

I hate using the M60 (M25 of the North) spent millions on making it a Smart...car park! Have been using recently due to roadworks around Manchester.
I've got 47.5mpg overall since new which isn't bad I don't think...it can only get better with mileage.
