newbie with a problem

Hi all

well i'm a newbie with a problem and can any one help ?.

i just brought a 16v cupra and it goes like the wind.but now it has started to
stuter when you take it over 60 mph.this is my first 16v i ever had and i don't know what's wrong.i'v had mk2 golf/jetter gti's 8v's and even a B3 passat 2.0 8v.and i wanted somthing diffrent and so i got my 1997 16v cupra.

any way back to the problem i'v gone out and brought new plug's,lead's,dizzy cap,roeter arm,air fillter.when i'v put all this on will it solve my problem or is it somthing more to it.

o and on the dash display when i turn the key it flash's (5 time's) IN02 what
does this mean ?

and the remote central locking don't werk and i'v only got the one key with
the unlock/lock button's on it ?.is there a way for me to get it werking again ?

if you can help this will be great and i'll get some pic's of her up tomoz.

For the car stuttering over 60mph it might be something to do either with the fuelling (fuel lines/ pump) or maybe the throttle body just needs a good clean up.

The IN02 on your dash mean you car is due a Service. There is a guide on the main seatcupra.net website explaining how to reset the service interval reminders.

As for programming your key fob, you need to do this:

turn ignition on for 2 seconds, then off and remove the key from ignition,

While holding down the lock button on the fob, press the unlock button 3 times, the fob LED should now flash 5 times and the doors should lock them selves.

turn the ignition on for at least 5 seconds (or more) to complete the programming.

The IN02 on your dash mean you car is due a Service. There is a guide on the main seatcupra.net website explaining how to reset the service interval reminders.

IN02 is major service. Mines been up for a while.

hi guy's
just to let you know that my remote locking work's fine now and the problem
with my stutering on the car is fixed.
i gave it a a full service and the plug's were fubar one of the lead's was also
fubar.the air fillter looked like it had never been changed and i rest the in02 on the dash.thank's for your help
