hi guys , i was on here quite some time ago with a normal 90 bhp tdi leon, after several other cars i have now left a deposit on a 2005 yellow 150 bhp tdi fr leon, it has only 10k on the clock and is in very good shape, asking price is 12000.
does this sound a bit high or normal since the new model is out?

I think that sounds vey reasonable. The AA website has a car valuation section powered by CAP who the industry generally use for valuation. Go and have a look, the retail price for the details you've given according to the AA is £13095, and £11800 for a clean trade in.
I've just bought the same model for £10650 with 40k on it. Generally the difference in valuation is around £500 for every 1000 miles under or over (if you know what I mean.) So I think it sounds pretty good.

The FR TDI's held their price very well. 55 plate ones are going for the same money they were sold as new. you got a fair deal mate.
