Hi everyone,

Momentus day for all concerned methinks! Mark today down as the day I decided to get involved in the Blaupunky SEAT Cupra Championship!

Their is nothing about it I look at and say "I don't like that". I love it all and hope one day the like of Harry Vaulkhard and Neil Waterworth finally get to graduate and go on to bigger and better things like Rob Huff did. In 2003 he was in the SCC. About 2yrs later he signed for RML run Chevrolet's in the WTCC with the like of Augusto Farfus and Gabriel Tarquini.

I will in time understand the prize money for each class but I am a little confused re the points system. I have the standings and three of the top 4 have points that confuse me. In the Leon Cupra class whilst table topper Jonathan Adam (Total Control Racing) is on 203. Alan Blencowe (Triple R) is on 134.5, Fulvio Mussi (Total Control Racing) is on 132.5 and Neil Waterworth (Total Control Racing) is on 119.5. Where does the .5 come from?

Yup thats correct, partial race distance means they were only given half points.

It's only happened once before I think in the SCC, back in 2004 if my memory serves me. After the freak weather we got at Oulton Park, the races were all delayed, and the SCC was last out, but they had to cancel it after 6 or 7 laps due to the racing curfew at Oulton.

All the points finishers were awarded half points.

I am now oficially better informed. Thanks.

So, the allocation of the points. I see at the end of race 1 at Brands Hatch the allocation is 17-15-13-11-9-7-5-4 and 3pts for 9th with the top three being Carl Breeze getting the 17pts, Jonanthan Adam getting the 15pts and Alan Blencowe getting the 13pts. Is this true?
