Newbie Questions - Sorry

Hey guys sorry few questions for you thought I may ask all in one searched on forum and couldn't find owt obvious


Q1) Since owning my Cupra R i have done couple of things

1. Fitted a Forge 007 DV
2. Fitted a Jetex Filter with elbow and silicone hose

Now big notice was the DV sound was silent before I put the filter on, now I have the filter on in 1st Gear I am getting a normal blow off sound, but in rest of gears at low rev's in particular I am getting the chatter. Is this normal? I could of sworn I put the DV the right way round.


Q2)How the hell do you get rid of the Squeeky bloody brakes? doing my head in, going slow, going fast, in reverse always does it!!!!


Q3) What size breather filter fits onto the SAI? Or am I better removing it altogether?


Q4) Running my open cone Jetex do I need to run a cold air feed or is the one on the wing okay?



And finally is their any other Cupra owners in Huddersfield? Not seen many so far

Yeah i've editing the tyre one fair do's car is outside now I can check

I have searched the forum and non give info that specific to the problems.

I am going to turn the DV round now but I could swear its on right way

Trouble is its okay saying search the forum but half the information is tied up and no doubt the answer to the question will be on page 16 of 20 pages!!!

I know its frustrating for other members but maybe the site could do with a wiki which is a lot easier to search or a tidy up to get rid of all the old posts which half the time are just questions anyway

the small filter you need is 28mm you can get them of ebay from one of the scooter or bike shops bout 6 quid and the chatter is normal when you put a filter on i got the sound when i did it and i love it lol the standard cold air feed is poo get a new 1

I don't mind the chatter just someone told me it was cos DV was on the wrong way

What happens if the DV is the other way? Does the chatter get louder? lol


Right my major burden are these ****ing squeeky ass brakes any ideas, someone told me to rub them down??? sandpaper?
