New to the forum as I am currently looking (researching) at the Mk III Leon FR in either guise, ideally the 181bhp one
Currently driving a Octavia Estate 1.9pd with a shark remap. Not much else done to it apart from a change of badges as the old ones looked poor, touch screen stereo and BT IO Play 2.
With my wife getting a mummy mobile (Grand C Max) it means I no longer require such a big car and can get back in a relatively hot hatch, but with a 50 mile commute, diesel for economy.
Not had the joy of test driving one, but sat in a TSI FR the other day to see if there would be much room for our children when I do take them in my car on the odd occasion and pleased to say there was enough room behind me, (6ft 2) just.
Sadly I have to wait till the middle of next year, but I can research, right? Right now I would like another silver car as I don't have the time to keep the car looking as clean as I used to so I fear white will look grubby to quickly.
As said above, I would ideally like the 181bhp version, but I have the STS box that came with my remap so I intend to get the new car remapped anyway so 150 would quickly become 197. Also looking for the tech pack, not the standard 17s and Alacantra seats.
Hopefully all this wont be too much of a wish list
Anyway, anything I need to look out for when I do eventually go shopping and how are you guys finding the car in general. Good on fuel, comfy, fun, quiet, etc?
Also, if you have access to VCMS, what can you change please? I enabled dual rear fogs and auto lock over 15kmh on my current car
