Hi guys and girls,

I am currently waiting for delivery of my new seat leon SE, i got it in Candy White, i also had the leather interior for it, aswell as the Winter and Convinience pack. Its the !.9 TDI common Rail engine.

what are peoples opinions of the car?

also i want to upgrade the alloy wheels on it, i would like some like what is on the FR, silver or black i dont mind! how can i get these and how much will they cost?

thanks people :D

are you really sure ? I thought it was only the 2.0 tdi that was changed to CR spec, and that the old 1.9 stayed PD, in fract VAG have just started to phase the engine out and its been replaced with the new 1.6 CR engine.

In front of a PC....
The 1.9 TDI is an old engine and its only the newer diesels tha are common rail. Like it was said before the 1.9s are being phased out of the range.

Variants - it means on some models - not all, one to be specific

The powerful 211 hp 2.0 TSI engine steals the spotlight in the petrol engine range, while the great novelty among the Diesel choices is the arrival of common rail technology to the 170 hp 2.0 TDI engine.

May be its only the exeo uses the cr engine, I found this advert on the net, and througth that when vw went from 19cc 8v engines to the 2Lcc 16v changed to cr, I know that my fathers 2007 vw Jetter is the 2L tdi cr forgive if I am wrong.

I think its only the 2.0 L 170 engines on the Leon are CR at the moment. Thats how the brochure puts it anyway.

Thats right, the diesel FR has a common rail engine, the other diesel leons have the older PD engine.

Its the normal VAG hierachy. Audi get the new engines first because it is the more upmarket "elite" brand shortly followed by VW. Seat and Skoda get them a year or so later. In the Octavia, the VRS has the 170bhp CR engine and you can now get a 1.6 diesel CR engine. The other diesels (1.9 and 2.0 (140bhp)) are the older PD engines.

Hello all.

Everyone is right, it's only the 170bhp FR that is CR. Have they sold it you as a CR?! Have a look on your order to see if the sales guy wrote CR. If he g
has then I think you've got something to say to them. It'll still be a lovely car tho mate! The FL models are really nice anyways.!

When you get it mate?! They're all running so late at the moment.! I'm terrified to call some of my customers but I gotta make that call.!
