hello everybody I'm Buzz I'm new here on this site have just bought a Leon Cupra turbo as a toy, i have had a few Leon's Octavia's golf etc over the years have been away for a while with jap cars still have my steppy rf1 but thought it's time to have a fun little car again.
bought it on Friday with a couple of minor issues, the dreaded rear doors jammed closed stupidly low to the point it drives horrendous and a dent and scrape on n/s/f wing and bumper
the first job I had to tackle was to get the doors open, after trying every way known to no success i took a hammer and bar smashed the electrics off and opened with my finger was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. brand new mechanism's in now working perfectly
second job was to order a new set of coilovers to raise it abit and stop the bouncing down the road scraping. delivery by Monday can't wait
if anyone has a n/s/f bumper laying around or are breaking a car please pm me although i will have a proper look on the site and learn the way around to the selling posts
has a few mods already done which saves abit of time and money but i will most likely be adding to this over the next few months lol just need to get my head back into these auq engines as it's been about 8 years since I have messed with them
