As I currently live and work on a building site, the Leon is getting dirtier than ever and keeping it clean is a battle I am losing so Friday lunch time the car looked like this

So Friday evening I got back and decided to give it the once over. A quick jet wash to get rid of the worst of the dirt and dust then I used a mix of Megs NXT in the foam attachment and went over the car. Left for 5 minutes.

Cleaned the wheels with NXT and a microfibre was mitt.

Washed out my buckets and washed again with megs NXT used the two bucket method and my sheepskin wash mitts.
Dried with a Megs water magnet and some JML microfibre towels for the door shuts. By this time the ligt was starting to fade and I decided to leave the tyre dressing until the morning

Saturday morning I was awaken by the sound of the road sweeper that come up the road at 7.30am, who decided it would be a good idea to park next to my car and have and leave the motors on and blow dust all over the car so I got back out, gave it a spray with QD and a wipe down mith a megs microfibre towel.
I got out the megs endurance tyre gel and went to put it on the tyres and found a nail in one and a tyre in need of replacement. So of I go to the garge to get a couple of tyres.
Come back and it now looks like this!

Audi RS6 replica 18's!

It still needs a proper detail as I havn't got around to attempting the swirl removal as the bonnet and wings have just been repainted so a full detail will follow when I no longer work on a building site!

Just outside Chester, its really North Wales!

A suspension drop is next after they finish building around me as they havnt finished the road yet, and if the car was any lower I wouldnt get onto the drive!

I cant say for certain but I doubt, it, as far as I am aware there were no suspension revisions when the changed the bumpers.

Its getting there, I will be replacing the bumpers with an LCR front and LC MY03 rear, side skirts of course and colour coded bump strips.

Have always liked the wheels and it made sense as the tyres were knackered anyway!

If its an LC and you want a decent drop you need to change the front anti roll bar, as if you go too low the driveshafts will hit it. This isnt an issue with the LCR.

Changes the look completely, and they sit nicely in the arches even without a suspension drop. Hadn't seen these fitted to a pre-facelift before. I'm really tempted to upgrade mine now. What width and offset are they?

Why on earth does the Cupra get black bump strips? I mean its one model off the top, surely is should get cc'ed ones on a model with 180bhp, if it where me thats the first thing i would sort and leave suspension till last.

Looking good mate

Just one thing, might want to take out your number plate in pics above and sig' to stop nosy parkers looking on here and deciding it might be a nice idea to nick the motor should they see it about ;)

Cheers everyone, I am really pleased with them, they are 8 x 18 ET33.
They arnt the same quality as genuine Audi wheels, but for the price I was quoted for 4 Pirelli P6000s from the local kwick fit, they were only an extra £120.
I'll edit the pics when photobucket lets me back on!
I went out especially to buy one in Azalea red as it was a bit different to the norm, and they only made the clouor for 6 months or so.
