New Update killed the interior lights

The last update released Nov 23 seems to have killed my interior/reading lights. They don’t come on when car door opened. Don’t turn on when pressed and if they do turn on can’t turn them off. None of the buttons above the head seem to work either. spanner, light, info etc.

anyone else has this problem?

Yes, that's a pretty common problem - faulty overhead touch module. It's been debated for quite some time on various forums, including this one. It is solved at the dealership by replacing the entire top-console. Mine is also dead for about a month now; it could have been dead long before, but I don't use those lights too often.
In my case they still work on auto-mode (so lights turn on when opening the car doors), but none of the buttons work and I can't turn on/off the lights by touch. The problem always goes away after 20-30 minutes of driving, but they never work right after you start the car.
The module failure after the software update is a simple coincidence - normally there's no correlation.
