Morning folks...

Had the old tyres replaced yesterday with some Conti's.
Looking at the old rears they had even wear across the face but the fronts had very bad wear on the insides.(2.4mm on the outside, bold on the inside).

Had the tracking done as a matter of course, surprisingly it was bang on,not a degree out !!

The tyre fitter surgested camber adjustment, iam i right in thinking the wheels are running like this / \ but should be like this l l ?

They didnt know of any places in Derby that can adjust this.....can you help folks

Sorry to drag it out but i like to give the full story.:D

You may find it is set up like that from the factoy. If you look at a track race car, the fronts have the same / \ set up. This is so that on cornering, the tyre has more contact with the road for better grip. My MG ZR had the same set up. Most modern cars will have it too.

Have the same problem as you.LCR,bold on inner tyre, fine on mid and outer front.took it to 5 different places for alignment(ets derby, wingerwoth tyres, nottingham wheel alignment,JBS autodesigns and pit stop tyres)all told me different things.JBS adjusted the camber but to no avail.after my last alignment i am trialing running the front tyres at 37psi to see if that helps.I dont use the car every day so will take a while to see if it makes a differance.please post if you get any closure on this, cheers.
