Hi,

Sorry if this is not the correct thread to post this, if so, please kindly move it to the right one.

I’m a proud owner of a 2018 Style+ Seat Leon (1.0 TSI 115cv) which comes with full led lights, start and stop, keyless etc just to name a few. But actually there are a few things that I can’t seem to find in the users manual and I’ve been reading here a lot of different opinions which got me even more confused.

1. I have full led lights but fog lights are halogen which actually bother me. I’ve Ordered ones from NOVSIGHT that someone recommended around here, but in the manual it says that fog lights should be H8 and these are H11. Will I have any trouble replacing it? Or is just plug and play?

2. same goes for reverse light which I can barely see it and others too. It should be a bright white led to match and advise others. The light is just some W16W light. Any recommendation plug and play that won’t give any error?

3. car is under warranty and I don’t want to lose it, neither want to have console warnings. But these are just the things that I’d like to change.

4. as a bonus question (if possible). How can I activate Siri or any other phone command from wheel button (not using Apple careplay)?

thank you! :)

Also bumping this, because I'm confused about which model do I have. It seems that I have the FL version because the infoentertainment is the bigger one, the full led lights also are the FL ones as well as the front grill so it seems, however, the fog lights are from the pre FL model (hallogen) and I don't have custom ambient lights inside. My version is the ecomotive one btw.

Often the manual regarding fog light type is wrong, so you’re best off taking the existing ones out and looking at them, or someone on here will know. Unfortunately I don’t as I have a PFL Cupra it doesn’t have front fog lights.

as for the rear, as long as you get a good brand canbus LED bulb the same fitment as the existing, you should be fine. Just make sure it is canbus and it shouldn’t bring up any lights on the dash. Some good brands include Phillips, Osram.

The only way to activate SIRI via the car is to use Apple CarPlay, as CarPlay isn’t supported wirelessly this means having it plugged in. Otherwise you’ll be connected by Bluetooth which only gives you the Choice of basic commands through the steering wheel speech button.

hopefully this helps and I’m sure a couple of others can guide you further.

you have a MK3.5 (facelift).

Thank you @LR231998, other question that I have is that I don't seem to have cornering lights, neither driving modes (I don't have the MODE button at all).

Is this something that can be enabled for this model (I believe that cornering does, with Carista and such) but what about enabling driving modes in the menu?

Thanks!
