Ordered my new Leon FR tdi last week and ever since i have been scouring the net for forums just like this to get info on my new car. I have asked for it to be delivered in September, due to new reg's being out but more importantly as I am moving work locations. I thought the wait would be easy but I am already calender watching counting down the days. Does anyone know of a current delivery period for the cars? I havent had a date from the guys I bought the car from yet.

No idea on the delivery times mate. I bought the same car in the same colour last month, thankfully a dealer in Sheffield had a car in the spec I wanted so I only had to wait (just under) 2 weeks.
Waiting that long was bad enough though.

Went to the Sheffield garage for my test drive. The guy said you can normally get the car I wanted, red, 18" alloys and bluetooth in about 10 days but due to the offer he gave me on my Alfa 147 I had to turn it down. Its amazing how much them cars depreciate. Therefore decided to wait until September, giving me chance to pay some money off the Alfa before getting the new car, that way I wasnt getting stung with higher finance figures.
