Been posting in the MK4 section the last week or two. Im basically a SEAT convert now. Had a fiesta, 3 different motorbikes then a 6N1 1999 Polo. Got a Ibiza MK4 1.4 Sport (2007) about 2-3 weeks ago from a WJKing used car dealer. Hadent planned on the SEAT thought had viewed them before when i had issues with the polo earlier in the year. Fell in love when I saw it. thought it was a lot of car for the money (£2995). It was a dream to drive and i even got WJKing to replace the cambelt which i put £100 towards. But then i had a screw through the back tyre and i found out it would need bushes on both front suspension arms. Plus i was still waiting for a spare key. So thought sod it ill part X the car for a Mark5 Ibiza Toca. So i did. Plus im saving money on tax. The Mark4 was 180 pa. MK5 130pa plus i get the first year free from seat. excellent!!

exchanged the cars today and im surprised at how different it feels to the MK4. the MK4 of course had larger alloy wheels, stiffer lower suspension and a few extras that i actually miss like auto dimming rear view mirror, underseat drawer and nippier around bends. But loking the smoother ride on the MK5 as its not as much of a bone shaker and is a quieter engine. Love the satnav and how its integrated into the car. But the power steering felt a lot lighter on the MK4??

So while i loved my MK4 sport which was imaculate as the previous owner had spent out on autoglym lifetime treatment, I also love my new (to me) Ibiza Toca. both more different than i expected.
