New MAF (Measured blocks now inside)

Well my MAF has been playing up recently and the car keeps going into limp mode (very annoying and for some reason it only does this on the motorway!! Anyone any ideas why!!??).

When Vag-commed it came up with a maf signal too low and engine running lean.

The question is where can i get a new MAF from that isn't going to cost me the earth but works well. I have tried a bosch one from andrew pages and it was 10x worse.

I have now taken this one back but i don't want to splash out on another new maf for it to be faulty so where does everyone get their replacement mafs from??

Its a SEAT

But its one of the rare parts that the stealers is actuly good for...

iirc you get a discount or somthing like that if you give in your old one back in exchange...

thanks, when i contacted seat they quoted me over £200 but then

i rang back and quoted the part number from part number thread in here and it was like £82 or something which is fine. (Thats with a surcharge)

Stealers are ok then

yeah dealers are best , £100inc vat £20 surcharge = £80 thats the best price i got

I have just been quoted for a brand new maf £208 +vat or for an exchange on £77 + VAT with a £40 surcharge included!!

This seems strange.

Well i bought a new MAF from seat and i collect it tommorow,i wiped the error codes clear and then i went to measure some blocks before i replaced the maf.

Im shocked with the results they are terrible (for the grams of air per second)
