Hi guys new to the site, currently own a mk2 ibiza cupra and hve just agreed to buy a 2001 leon cupra, was well impressed with the drive.

i was wandering what dump valves people use or does any one have the new forge one designed for 20vts?

also wandering how easy it is to "my03" the front end??

If you're going to MY03 the front end, you'll have to change the standard alloys, cos they're crap. I think it's a fairly straightforward swap for the whole front bumper, but I'm no expert, having only owned my 53 plate LC for a few weeks and not had a chance to take much apart yet!

i would think that they are from the same mould as it were,
iv been looking at the forge splitter dump valve does anyone have one?

To change the front bumper you'll need to get new archliners and mounting brackets as they're different between the models. It's probably worth doing the rear bumper at the same time too - might look a bit odd otherwise.

You'll need to use a recirculating dv - Forge 007 or Bailey DV30 are favourites - the splitter is good once set up properly, but really needs the higher boost pressures developed on remapped cars to work at it's best.

Can't see you having any problems keeping the standard wheels

easy to change front bumper plenty of threads on here about it also loads of guides to follow..
i followed fallen angels guide..spot on.
you will need the bumper guides 1M0807049E and 1M0807050E and front wheel arch extentions 1M6807479 & 1M6807480 but not the wheel arch liner... not sure why this is coming up alot..well at least i didn't need them and mine is an 02 leon with facelift bumper.

thanks for the info guys, i cant wait to pick her up now so excited, gotta sell the ibiza tho really dnt want to after iv seen what can be done to them, a mates got a mk2 cupra with mk 3 dash full cage nd 20vt in it!!!

still the leon has more toys etc in it just looking forward to the power over the ibiza

Yeah not too far away! If you feell like ever meeting any of us we have a regular meet at the 2for1 pub in Maidstone (leybourne I think it is). Have met quite a few of the guys from here at the meets, or at Brands.
