Hello All,
I am nearly part of the Seat family with my purchase of a new leon which i should be picking up tomorrow after waiting a good 12 weeks.
Initially very good, friendly and professionaly. However, when looking for some indication of delivery after waiting 2 months with no contact, I recieved nothing to very little. Now, I cant believe a car cannot be tracked through its manufacturing process but i'm willing to accept that this may be the norm for Seat.
I was finally told that my car was due to be built in week 41. Very unhelpful as my current car ran out of tax and mot that same week. The dealer made sweet promises to attempt to secure me a temporary car, which was nice of them, however these were just words. They had no intention of doing so. I was also told I would be taken care of when the car finally came. Again, just sweet ambiguous words that will ultimately mean nothing of value.
Im going to have to drive my car, untaxed and unmoted to them tomorrow, after spending nearly a month at the mercy of Liverpools public transport system, an experience I am very grateful is coming to an end.
I am greatly looking forward to picking the car up tomorrow, I just hope I wont be let down by the dealer.
