New lcr owner needs advice!!

Hello everyone,i will be collecting my cupra r on saturday and i just need a bit of advice.Do the lcr`s run a recirculating dump valve,and if so will i need to remove this if i want to fit an atmospheric dump valve? Also,is the standard alarm and imobiliser thatcham rated(for my insurance) one last thing,ive noticed people keep mentioning a dog bone mount,what is it and where does it fit!! any help would be great.....

Hi.LCR does run recirulate valve,probably best to leave it as recirculate and swap it for forge or baily one,you dont get the big noise like atmospheric one but add induction kit with baily and you arnt far off,dog bone mount is lower mount and some people swap bushes/complete mount for uprated ones to help control engine movement under hard aceleration.Think imobiliser is thatcham approved.

Its defo recirculating, dont put on an atmospheric dump valve as it would cause your management a whole load of problems. If you want dump valve sound then get the Forge split R, but they aint cheap and you gotta set it up properly.

As said above - there's loads of info on here if you do a quick search.

Basically - the car doesn't support a atmospheric dv - you'll need either an uprated recirc or the Splitter
