New interior out of a polo into an ibiza...

Ok so i said i was getting it and i did...
I actually think it looks alright.

As predicted the front seats went in fine.. the rear back rest went on fine... but the rear bench didnt... what needed to be done was to remove the hinge style mechanism from the polo, and from the ibiza. Then thread the solid bar style hinge from the ibiza through the holes that were on the polo bench. It means the bench cannot be removed in two seperate parts but its not really an issue to be fair.

Becuase of how the hinge off the ibiza is made, i had to chop it in the middle and then join it back up once threaded through the holes in the polo bench. This then allows the bench to be screwed onto the existing mounts on the chasis of the car.

And there you go. Thats how to fit a polo interior into an ibiza... piece of pizz

and a photo of the new interior:

Even the rear seats have head rests ;)

Overall i am pretty chuffed... I paid 40 pounds for the seats front and back and for the surround in the centre console and the heater control unit... which to be fair i dont think i could have got either any where near as cheap from... anywhere :D

I take it this is for your 1.4?? I thought you sold that tho? Or are you running it to the ground and keeping the valver as a weekend toy? BTW £40 for an interior is a bargain.

Just figured out a different theory behind you getting a new interior. Is it because you have a 15" hole in your back seats??
