New to the forum after receiving delivery of a new Ibiza from factory 5 days ago. The car came with 93 miles on the clock, and now has 392 miles.
Two days in, an intermittent engine management light came on whilst I was out, and was off again by the time I reached home half an hour later. Again last night the same check engine light was on, and this morning it had disappeared.
I visited my local seat to book in, and their earliest diagnostic appointment is mid September.. Obviously can't wait that long so took it to a local mechanic that I know to get a diagnostic and there were 10+ fault codes appearing. In the mechanics words, he said he'd go back and cause hell considering the car is sub 400 miles.
I just wondered in the meantime, if anyone had any advice or knew what the following fault codes could be pointing to as the issue.
- P25300 Ignition Switch
- U042200 Invalid data received body control module unit
- U42100 Invalid data received body control module A
- U112300 Data bus error received
- U112200 Data bus message implausible
- U111200 Function Restriction - Implausible message (Repeated)
- 1126516 Refer to service manual
- B1248F3 Steering column implausible
- U140700 Terminal 30 signal implausible.
